Wivenhoe - Wivenhoe Hall etc.
A small group of early photos which came from the same source as the photo of Fingringhoe Mill pond with sailing boat, plus two photos of Wivenhoe Hall from another source. The boy in the first photo is George Frederick Caesar Lawton (born 1879), son of Nicholas Caesar Corsellis Lawton and his wife Georgiana. Nicholas died in 1881 aged 41 & the family moved to Elmstead. Also two photos from an album belonging to Sir Henry Tyler, Inspector of Railways. These photos are now deposited with the Essex Record Office.
